maximum scrollsaw
my saw has about 15 hours on it, and I don't recommend this saw. I do alot of fine work, fretwork etc, and changing blades is a nightmare, the set screws are tiny, and if you ever dropped one, it would be tough to find. also, the motor started surging, I should have spent the extra money on a better saw.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Seems good
Have only used it on one project so far and it seems to do a good job once you put in the right blade with the right tension on it. The blade slipped out a few times until I realized you could spin the tension knob clockwise to increase the tension prior to pushing it down.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Bruyante !
Oui! Elle est bruyante. Mais dans l'ensemble elle fait la job.
Poor obsolete design, vibrates, blade clamps very tricky to use, flimsy plastic insert around blade , blower will not stay in position. Bought on sale, it has been replaced by newer design. Good news was that return process was first class.

A: Called technical support/customer service. They sent the required set screws right away. First time using , they stripped. Received other screws only to fine that when you use pin less blades you have to tighten to the point that the blades bend and brake very easily. Very poor system. I can only use pinned blades which is very disappointing. I prefer pin less because of the cut efficiency and quality.

A: I purchased one of these just a few weeks ago. Page 24 has nothing about securing blades - that information is on page 22, and it says nothing about pinless blades. The only instructions are for pin end blades.

Q: The dust port cannot be 45 cm's, is there an accurate measurement?

A: This is most likely a mistake. It was probably meant to show 4.5 cm. That said, this model is discontinued. Please have a look at the newer model, #055-6796.

Q: The blade tension mechanism got unscrewed and came out. It looks like I cannot screw it back, as the v shaped nuts moved and fell inside. Is there a manual which shows how to open the think up?
Anonymous3 years ago
1 Answer
A: This tool has tension mechanisms on the front and back.
Additionally, this component generally does not require assembly, thus it is not listed in the manual.
