17 years agoA: YUP! Chrome Moly Impact grade is about as strong as they get. These were made for the high torque applications that air tools can dish out. :o)

Q: The listing and one of the answers from the Canadian Tire Team say it is made of chrome-vanadium steel. However, in the picture, I can clearly say that it is stamped as Cr-Mo which means Chrome-Molybdenum. What is the correct material it is made of?

Q: Lost Receipt Last year I made a very significant purchase of Mastercraft Maximum tools - stubby and full length wrenches, as well as this impact set and a 3/8 set. I recently lost the receipt for these. Will the warranty be honoured without proof of purchase?
13 years agoA: I'd try going to the original store with the broken tool..sometimes you get a kind and helpful sales rep and they will just give you a replacement ( as long as it is a Mastercraft brand ). However, if you are going to try and exchange an entire set of tools? I don't think they can help you without the receipt. Also,..if you happen to have the original box or container that the tools were in when you purchased them? Sometimes,..the bar code on your package can be traced to match the stores record of the sale. Goodluck!

Q: Pourquoi y'a pas de douille 12 mm? C'est parce que c'est des douilles 1/2. Ça existe pas un douille 12mm en 1/2, c'est une douille 3/8 pis tu visse pas un écrou de 12mm à l'impact, tu vas trop la serrer et la briser comme un champion.

Q: What size of a driver does it take? I have a 1/2” torque wrench will the sockets fit on it?
7 years agoA: 14pcs-1/2"Dr.regular impact sockets:10-11-13-15-17-19-21mm - 7/16"-1/2"-9/16"-5/8"-11/16"-3/4"- 15/16" 14pcs- 1/2"Dr.deep sockets: 10-13-15-17-19-22-24mm -7/16"-1/2"-5/8"-11/16"-3/4"-13/16"-7/8" But all are 1/2"Dr. so the 1/2" Dr torque wrench can fit on.

Q: are these the size to change rims on a car
7 years agoA: These Sockets are impact rated and can be used to remove the lug nuts on a wheel with an air, corded or cordless impact wrench (or any other non-impact drive tool). The removal of the lug nuts is one of a number steps in changing the rims on a car, so we cannot fully address this question.
