Great flooring gun

I was going to rent a flooring nailer but bought this one instead. It works great. I laid 500 feet of 3/4 hardwood and used the 1 1/2 inch staples. It works great. I would have spent more on the rental plus this way I could take my time. Used about 2000 staples for the project and had maybe 3 misfires where the staple hit something in the sub-floor.

J'ai acheté cette cloueuse afin d'installer du plancher de chêne de 3/4 de pouce d'épais dans trois chambres totalisant plus de 460 pieds carrés. J'ai hésité car les commentaires sur la version précédente de marque Mastercraft étaient plutôt négatifs. Au pire, je me suis dit que je la retournerais. En pratique, après avoir utilisé plus de 3 200 clous de 2 pouces, je n'ai eu qu'un seul blocage, causé par ma propre faute, au tout début, en laissant le chargeur se vider jusqu'au dernier clou. Par la suite, en remplissant le chargeur alors qu'il contenait encore une dizaine de clous et en ajoutant 4 ou 5 gouttes d'huile dans la prise d'air au début de chaque journée, tout a été absolument impeccable jusqu'à la fin !

EXCELLENT TOOL,IM SO HAPPY TO HAVE IT! its easy to operate,reliable and effective.Previously I had a multi hit manual nailer which was like from a different age in comparison with this MAXIMUM Nailer !

Perfect Right Out of the Box

We had been renting Bostich nailers but it was adding up. Found this model on sale and it looked good. Right out of the box uses same PSI (air pressure) and 15.5G staples as the prior rental. Read the instructions, gave it a few drops of the oil that comes with the kit and the first staple went in perfect. Did about 250sq (bedroom) feet of flooring and not one misfire.

Q: How do I adjust the depth dial? the 2" cleat isn't going far enough into the floor. I read the manual many times and it says to adjust just the depth dial. where is it??? I have adjusted the psi from 90-120 with no luck.

A: Your not hitting the plunger hard enough. I used this product to lay 3 floors the only time the nails didn't go in all the way is when I didn't hit it hard enough.

A: The 3/8 engineered hardwood for 058-9342 is too thin, the thinnest floor for this nailer should be is 1/2".
