    Q: I bought this grinder because the impact gun is a beast. It keeps stopping while grinding. Is this normal?

    • A: Thank you for your comments concerning the high-torque impact wrench. As to the experience with the grinder stopping frequently, this is likely an issue with the battery, not the grinder. Grinding tools generally have high drag during operation. This places significant power drain on the battery. It is recommended that you use as a minimum a 4.0Ah battery to operate the grinder. This should give the grinder 20-minutes continuous run time, depending on the type of grinding you are doing, a heavier application will have less time, a lighter application more time. However, as you will not be running the grinder continuously, i.e., off and on application process is normal for most Users, the run time should be longer. To ensure minimal experience with the tool stopping unexpectedly, it is always recommended to ensure a full battery charge prior to usage. Your smart charger allows the battery to be left mounted for prolonged periods of time without damaging the battery but ensuring full charge. A second 4.0Ah battery charging while using the first is also recommended if the application is expected to be prolonged.
