Unbreakable

I have been using mine for over 6 years and this spring I inadvertently left it on my roof. I thought I had lost it and didn’t have much luck when I tried to find a new one. Last week I was shoveling snow and noticed something up on my roof under the snow. It was my SureShot and I brought it in and ran it under warm water and let it dry. Yes it it works as good as new.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Working for a decade.

I don't know what all the bad reviews are on about. I've had this thing for over a decade and still working just fine. I do use it, it doesn't just sit on a shelf. the only problem I have is it's hard to pull the tray out to load staples, I have to use pliers. could be worse, it could be loose and the staples fall out. One of the best purchases I've had from Mastercraft.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Indispensable if you have arthritis

This stapler takes full advantage of physics. You press toward the staple, not away from it like most. Why aren’t all staplers like this? I have arthritis is my hands so I can use the strength of my arm to seat the staple properly.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Won’t last - even for household use

Is assembled with screws, which is necessary because dropping this can knock the spring off inside - requiring it to be opened up and putting it back together. There are diagrams online. Having a teacup break if you drop it - reasonable. A staple-gun should be built with the expectation of being dropped, and bounced around in a toolbox as expected use. Unfortunately I can’t put the spring back on, and reassemble, because two of the screw holes are now broken. As long as it works, it’s decent, but don’t drop it!

No, I do not recommend this product.

  • A: When you pull the drawer out of the back, you can then drop the stapes into the track on the underside of the stapler. It took a while to figure this out!
