    Pressure pump

The pump has worked great since installing it. It was easy to install. Great clearance price.

    No replacement parts available

Bladder in pressure tank failed after 2 seasons, no replacement available. Had to replace with a whole new pressure tank. The double male nipple between the jet pump housing and the low pressure cut off was galvinized and corroded to the point of failure before that. Replaced with a brass fitting. low water volume sensor is now causing electric motor to cut out before reaching pressure.

    Great pump great price!

I am very pleased with this, I am using this for a whole home RO system. Other stainless steel pumps are 3 times the price! Hookup was easy, the threadings are clean unlike some cast iron pumps, so I had no leaky fittings to deal with. Has good pressure and flow. 10/10!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Not a simple DIY project

It doesn't come wired to plug in. You are advised to get an electrician to wire it . The fittings are 1 inch and don't fit any of the existing plumbing so have to be adapted. Should have bought a similar design to what I am replacing.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    • A: The suction is 1 inch. If you’re asking about a foot valve it should be 1 inch.

Q: Lost manual.  Does this pump have a check valve so that the water doesn't drain back when it shuts off? I hear water gurgling back down the inlet piping and when I use the water and pump turns on again I get 1/2 water and 1/2 bursts of air.

    1 Answer
    • A: We will send you a copy of the manual by email. There is no check valve, it is a closed system meaning once it is operational it holds it prime. This system is losing its prime somewhere, it is usually (but not always) the check valve at the bottom of the suction pipe. If its not the foot valve the water is leaking out somewhere else. If the pump is not turning on when it loses its prime, you need to check the pressure tank. When it’s empty make sure the pressure inside the tank is set to 28 PSI. All this applies only if you did not make any adjustments to the inside of the pressure switch.

Q: hi will this pump run a gas pressure washer

    1 Answer
    • A: We would require more information about the gas pressure washer in order to provide an accurate response. There's lots of variations for performance depending on the installation.

Q: using for lawn irrigation..im assuming i dont need a pressure tank but do need a street tee and check valve..where do i get these?

    1 Answer
    • A: For this application, we recommend using a Mastercraft Irrigation Shallow Well Jet Pump, 3/4 HP, #062-3596-6 for irrigation. Should you decide to use a standard jet pump for irrigation, and only for irrigation you should have a tank but as long as you are not starting and stopping the pump erratically it should be ok. Although we recommend the irrigation pump for irrigation application.
