This compressor and tank are compact yet have enough pressure to pump up pickup and SUV tires. I bought this one because it fits on the shelf in my garage whereas the other one with more capacity and pressure, took up too much space.

This was so loud you needed a ear headset. Took 20 minutes to fill the tank and then could barely blow out the water lines.

A: NO, even my large 2 piston 220V compressor won't break loose super tight lugs with my Campbell Hausfeld ( t needs more pressure). This is best suited for a brad nailer and pumping up tires. I have used it on a large air nailer, but recovery time is needed.

A: Volume vs pressure, I'd say you'd be disappointed. I use air to blow out my 5th wheel water lines, for that I would say yes it would work (I use my large compressor because it is close enough) But depending on the size of your yard I think the volume of a sprinkler system would be best served by a larger tank compressor. Maybe someone with a sprinkler system can offer better advise.

Q: Do I need to buy quick couplers before using it. I fired it up and the one gauge hit full pressure (left side) but the gauge on the right didn't move. I screwed the attachment for pumping tires directly onto the hose but get nothing.
