Most socket set you buy don't include longer sockets, with the open design there is no need for it and the quality and design is great. Highly recommend this set.

Good for long bolts

This is only good for nuts on long bolts...otherwise there is not that much use of this. If you deal with this issue a lot, then it is useful, however, I would not recommend this as a replacement for a regular socket set. The 1/4" socket driver is very small, and you can only get proper leverage if you pipe it

Good socket set

I picked up this socket set on sale for around $40.00, and I feel this was great value. The sockets are good quality and work well, however my one complaint would be that the small driver is too small. It's a little difficult to use in some situations and doesn't fit the larger sockets.
Overall though, a great buy for around the house.

J'ai acheté ce kit en solde il y a 2 mois et je l'ai utilisé hier pour la première fois. Il y avait pas beaucoup d'espace pour aller chercher un boulon et je me suis souvenu que j'avais acheté un kit justement pour ça. Je l'ai utilisé et ça très bien fonctionné. Le gros plus avec ce kit est qu'il est universelle. Pas besoin de se demander si c'est métrique ou non.

Q: ratchet how much torque can i apply to the ratchet?

A: As for maximum torque you can apply, I am not certain. I wrench daily and use these occasionally and have used a Snap-On 18V 1/2 impact on them and they have not snapped, cracked or shown any issues so far. Pull as hard as I can and no issues. 6' 225lbs solid mechanic so unless your like Lou or Arny and arms like my legs you likely wont break these very easy. For tools and hand tools primarily CT has an good manufacturer that seems to build very high quality stuff!

Q: Do these sockets fit a 4 point square head bolt?

A: Of course they do. That's the whole point of it being universal. There are 12 cams in the socket, so with hex head bolts every second cam will contact the head, and with square head bolts every third cam will contact the head.

A: Hi, The smallest depends on which of the various ways or fasteners you use it on but the smallest listed size of a 6 or 12 sided bolt/nut is and this one socket fits all of these! 4mm, 5/32", or external torx E5,or M5 spline, The Largest is 6/12 sided fastener the set can fit is 22 MM or a M28 Spline or 19 MM Square Hope this helps

Q: Individual Replacements? I've lost one of my sockets - either a 10mm or 11mm. I can't find singles in-store. I certainly don't want to spend $130 on a new set because I lost one! How can I get a replacement?

Q: Are other special adaptors available? I would like to know if there is a 3/8" female to 3/8" female pass-through adaptor available, which would allow someone to use a Mastercraft 3/8" drive digital torque adaptor with the pass-through sockets from this set. See picture.

A: You can use standard 3/8 drive sockets as adaptors. 13mm for the smaller sockets & 19 mm for the larger ones. Select a brand series that fits with least play.
