Good While it Lasted

This flashlight had pretty awesome lighting, but soon after I bought it, it had all the same problems others have mentioned. Goes from solid to strobe for no reason. The on/off switch was sometimes questionable but now it's gone completely. I am quite disappointed as this was an expensive product that gave the impression of durability, but it's not!.

No, I do not recommend this product.

If a 0 were possible...

At first this was a good flashlight, but after just a few weeks it developed a mind of its own, switching from one mode to another. It would go through all modes in order or just jump from high straight to strobe in a second!! There is NO controlling this thing! If you want a disposable light at a price higher than what it's worth buy a FANCY CANDLE. You'll get more out of the candle like a scent, or even a little "surprise" if you buy one with a gift inside. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FLASHLIGHT!!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Cheap internals, broke easily

The internals of the flashlight are extremely cheap. Simple solder on a very thin wire. This flashlight works great so long as it doesn't bump into anything. Repaired mine last year, however, would not recommend for any police or military use as it could compromise your life and the safety of others.

No, I do not recommend this product.

battery failure and switch sensitivity

I got one of these for Christmas. The amount of lumens is more than adequate, however the battery will not hold a charge. It is supposed to be a lithium battery, however it behaves like the old obsolete nicad. At full charge if that is possible it lasts about an hour at best which is nowhere near the advertised 9 hours. The battery has no markings as to the manufacturer or other necessary specs. Its appearance shows shoddy workmanship, not professional like Duracell or Milwaukee. Second, the switch is very sensitive and seems to change modes from solid to strobe at will. Very disconcerting overall. Hence, just about useless, have to find another manufacturer with a known reputation.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice light, bad SWITCH

When new it worked fine, but the on-off switch becomes flaky after a while, starting by switching modes when unit is knocked SLIGHTLY, then refusing to turn on at all. Now its useless.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How long is a charge supposed to last? I bought mine a few weeks ago and I get less than 4 hours on a charge.

  • A: On the maximum brightness setting, the 4 hrs run time is probably normal. You probably only get the stated 8 hrs run time, on the low brightness or strobing setting.

Q: how do i order one

  • A: Unfortunately, this product is discontinued, and we have limited availability at select stores/online. We apologize for the inconvenience. As an alternative, we would recommend our new MAXIMUM 600 lumen rechargeable flashlight. It is shorter in length but is similar in specifications with more functionality.

Q: Product #65-3082-2. How do you switch between high, low, and strobe mode? I can just be holding mine and it will switch by itself between modes.

1 Answer
  • A: You can switch between high, low, and strobe mode by pressing the button switch on the flashlight body. It is a tact switch. It is possible you were holding it and slightly pressing it at the same time. If so, the light will also be changed from one mode to another.
