    poor quality product

This utility knife has a solid grip and all it's not one of the best and the plastic components tend to break berry easily. Once the plastic breaks the knife malfunctions and can close without removing the safety. First drop that the utility knife has gone thru and a spring in the safety mechanism to keep the blade closed got dislodged and the blade wouldn't lock in the clossed position and would open at any moment.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How do you replace the blade

    • A: Spare blades are in the handle - push the small button behind the slider and a door will pop upward. There is another button at the front on the left side of the handle, when this is pushed in and held in the blade will be loose and can be pulled out. Push in the new blade into the slot until it bottoms out, then release the button. I find that if I wiggle the blade slightly something clicks and the blade will be seated and locked in.
