The drill bits are pretty good but really oily, the oil seems like to be a mechanical fluid like coolant used to make these drill bits and it smells bad, and the bits could be more securely placed in the box and the box is a little cheap.

Nice to look at but useless

I suspect these are wood bits only. I've not been able to penetrate metal at all and only end up dulling the bits. Don't waste your money.

Photo of product is misleading

The current (as of Dec. 2012) photograph of this item is extremely misleading. It clearly shows a full complement of bit sizes A through Z on the right side of the case. THIS IS NOT ACCURATE. The A-Z bits are completely 100% absent from this set. In it's place, they have so thoughtfully included a completely useless set of 57(!) cheap screwdriver bits (not 30 as in the description) that everyone already has to keep the part count high. The quality of the screwdriver bits is the lowest I have seen.
The drill bits themselves are pretty accurate with respect to sizing, most of the smaller sizes in the 1-60 numbered series being generally less than half a thousandth off their spec'd size (as measured with a Starrett precision micrometer accurate to 0.0001")
Bottom line: Don't pay regular price for this set. I paid $40 on sale, and in my opinion that price makes it a good deal.

Good set

This is one of the most complete drill bit sets I've seen. It's got most of the sizes you'll ever need. The smaller bits are on the fragile side and I have broken one. But to put it in perspective the one I broke was so slamm I needed to wrap the shank in tape so it'd fit into the chuck of the drill. The larger sizes I've never had any issue with.
When this is on sale for $50, it's not beatable as far as value goes.
