Horrible flashlight.

I purchased this flashlight when it was on sale thinking that even the sale price was a little high, but that Mastercraft tools tend to be pretty good and I wanted a really good flashlight. At first I was impressed with how bright the beam was and how you could change the width/focus of the beam depending on what you're doing. I also liked the fact that you can remove the "python" part and use it as a regular flashlight. So what's the problem? Flickering. The flashlight flickers off/on when you move or rattle the flashlight. I would position it on something I was working on and it would flicker off. I'd have to rattle it to get it back on. I thought maybe I got a dud so I exchanged it. The replacement did the same thing and the button on the bottom broke right off almost as soon as I took it out of the package. Exchanged it again, no broken button this time but the replacement flickers as well. I expect better for the cost of this flashlight - not impressed and absolutely would not recommend this to anyone for any purpose.
