    Further to my first review I returned this item to the store as it has a lifetime guarantee. It was replaced no problem and when I returned home and opened it , the handle was already broken in numerous places when I removed it from the sealed clam shell plastic package package. It is a bigger waste of gas returning the item than the item is worth.

    I wish I had read the reviews before buying. They are exactly right. After a couple minor uses the handle suffered multiple cracks and the mechanism falls out. The retractable flex rod jams every time you try to slide it back into place. The biggest/smallest piece of junk that I have ever purchased at Canadian Tire. I will be trying to return it tomorrow.

    Fell apart literally as I unboxed it. Managed to get my macbook pro open and swapped my harddrive, but just barely. Centre shaft that holds the bits falls right out of the handle, bits fall out of the centre shaft. Terrible quality on assembly, tool seemed promising but this tool is just awful.

    avoid flexible extension models

    *note I have the blue one (not red) with flexible extender option, not listed on my packaging (this one has a solid rod). The flexible extender slips out every time you try to screw a screw in. Once out it does lock but this is useless for normal applications. Returning my product. So frustrating. If there was no flexible extender then this would be a 5 star product. If the extender was locked in then this would be a 5 star product. As is - it cannot be used with one hand.

    New design is worse!

    The new design has a flimsy extension. The first one had a solid metal extension however, I had to claim it several years later for replacement because the bits started to fall out. So I got the new one without many questions asked and even got a new one with a without a receipt. The new receipt showed it at half price though. The new design had a major problem with the extension constantly coming out. Another issue was the driver or the head would come out the plastic body. After placing it back in one time, the plastic body cracked. I have now exchanged it for another product but only got half the value towards the new product. Anyways, I suggest staying away from this model and getting the Maximum Precision Screwdriver for a few bucks more.

    Q: Bit tip holder extends even without pushing on lock-out ring...it doesn't return, but too easy to extend it. Is that normal?

    • A: For the usage of 0573502, when need pull out the flexible extension shaft, please pull out the extension shaft directly, it's no need pushing out lock-out ring, just pull it out directly until the longest part of the shaft can be extended. The hexagonal iron part at the end of the extension shaft can be fixed at the handle. If you want to retract the flexible extension shaft into the handle, please push out the lock-out ring, and then push the extension shaft back into the handle.

    Q: how do I change the bits? I tried to change the bits but cannot lock those.

    • A: When the bits are changed, you must push the bit in with a little force for it to snap in the slot and automatically locks in. There is no extra mechanism to lock in the bits. Once the extension bar extends, it locks in place. To shorten the extension, the customer must "PUSH" the black latch provided and retract the extension bar.

    Q: How to get other bits out of screw driver case to use it ? I am not able to get bits out of the back case for use

    Q: What are all the screw bits included in this package? I would like to know what bits this includes as the description is quite lacking on this regard. Every bit and their bit size would be appreciated (ie. T6, Phillips #0, etc)
