We chose the "Mastercraft 2-Step Metal/Plastic Folding Step Stool, 250-lb, 3.1-ft" after viewing other similar products because it is very sturdy especially there is a lock to ensure the stool is very stable after it is opened up. The anti-slipping materials on the steps and at the bottom of each leg is a very good safety feature. Since Safety is our primary concern and we won't mind to pay a bit more for this product.

A: Hi, Please see the details below : 1. Frame material is made out of steel metal, Q195 2. Material of handlebar is made of Aluminum, 6063 3.Steps are made of plastic but with anti slip feature and stem on the step surface for safety. 4.Feet are made of plastic , Plastic PVC .
