It's ok for the price

It's an ok mixer it does the job so far but sounds like it struggles to when making dough. It is alittle loud but for the price its not bad. One day I'll get a kitchen aid

I liked my old "Sunbeam" better

I recently bought this to replace an old "Sunbeam" stand mixer. It works ok but ..
1) the bowl is quite tall and narrow, and doesn't allow ingredients to be added without flipping the head up, which can be annoying if you have many ingredients to add sequentially while stirring
2) the bowl is so tall it doesn't fit into my fridge to cool cookie dough; so I have to transfer the dough into another bowl, which adds another step and more dirty dishes
3) it is quite noisy
P.S. why are there no mixers with glass bowls anymore? In a glass bowl you can melt butter or chocolate in the microwave, in a metal bowl you can't, requiring again more bowls/dishes and additional steps/transfers
