J'avais besoin d'un gros format de chaudron pour faire cuire des pâtes lors de repas familiaux. Cette marmite en acier inoxydable est d'excellente qualité, avec un fond épais qui conduit bien la chaleur. Assurez-vous toutefois un élément chauffant assez gros sur votre surface de cuisson pour en profiter au maximum. Il est indiqué que cette marmite va au four mais mon four n'est pas assez haut. Ce n,est pas vraiment un désagrément puisque je ne prévoyais pas la mettre au four.

Q: Can this be used over a open wood flame to be used in a corn roast? we have a wood fire pit with a grill that fits over it, but it gets very hot. I am concerned if this pot would hold up

A: It will be completely covered in black soot, and need a good cleaning, but will hold up just fine.

Q: Can this “stock” pot be used as a canner?

A: Yes, it work well as one for boiling water bath canning however you must get and use a rack (or dish towel) in the bottom so the jars are not resting directly on the bottom of the pot. Also the lid and pot handles will get very hot during processing so take care. I have done jams, jellies and pickles in the pot without issues.

A: Yes, this product is stainless steel product, but it is with 18/0 stainless steel. And we recommend to hand wash only. If to wash in dishwashing machine, the dishwasher detergent might cause rusting issue to the pot.
