Good BBQ - No parts or $$$$

Great BBQ, but can't recommend.
- BUT THIS IS PROBABLY TRUE TO ALL BBQS
Replacements parts costs MORE then the BBQ itself.
After 4 years, the stainless steel burners, and cross tubes are rusted out rendering the BBQ unusable.
Canadiantire, does not have parts in stock, or they are just not available. I found them elsewhere, and to replace the 4 burners, and 3 cross over tubes costs $150 plus taxes and shipping.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Easy to assembly, good instructions.
Love it so much, went back and bought a rotisserie
for this BBQ. Nice to know C-Tire carries the accessories too!

Q: Electronic Start BBQ - 085-3040-4 I purchased mine last summer, and after only a fews uses the electronic start would not work. My local CDn Tire replaced it for me. Even though I didn't install the new starter until June of this year, it is gone again. Can I order just this starter?

Q: can i buy replacment Cooking Grates for the E480 from you i am in need of a ste of new Cooking Grates for my master chef E480 the ones i have are just undr 1 year old and are rusting i check the masterchef site and they are listed as unavalble

A: The grates are cast iron on this grill. they don't need to be replaced, they need to be oiled. Read the instructions. I oil the grate after every BBQ, Just regular canola oil is fine.

Q: BBQs - Are there any models that are propane BBQs that can be later converted to use Natural Gas?

A: They have a separate model that is identical, but fueled with natural gas. I don't think the propane one can be converted to NG or viceversa.

A: No. The E480 features 4 main burners and a side burner. Although, it is still possible to mount a rotisserie kit and utilize the main burners for rotisserie cooking. If you would prefer a model with a rotisserie burner, the Master Chef E500 (85-3044)comes equipped with a rear rotisserie burner.

Q: I cant get rid of yellow flames after cleaning burners. Is there a ventura adjustment for the main burners?

Experiencing yellow flames after cleaning could be the result of one of the following: burners not seated correctly over the valve, during cleaning debris may have been pushed further into the burner tube, or if you have a propane model your regulators flow limiting device may just require a reset.
