Q: Can these be sharpened and if so how?

A: They cannot be sharpened. They are also delicate, and will chip if handled roughly, but I love them. When properly cared for they stay sharp a long time. However, for heavy use nothing beats a steel blade.

Q: I just opened the package of the 3 piece set. Knives don't seem to want to fit in the sheaves. Am I doing something wrong?
