Head my warning oh dear shopper. I wanted the smallest possible food processor and didn't need anything fancy. I didn't check the reviews because I wasn't super invested. I regret this. I got the processor and it had already been returned. First bad sign. I then tried putting it together, but the manual didn't have all the parts listed that I had. I figured that when it was returned it wasn't set up right. I spent 30 minutes trying to get it to spin. All I got was the smell of burning. Finally decided to check reviews because there were no instructions online. Turns out this is just a really bad food processor Get if you like the smell of burning and you're ok not making the food you intended on.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: It states in the product details that the jar is AS which Canadian Tire should have been a bit more specific but it probably does stand for acrylonitrile styrene which can closely resemble polycarbonate items. But as far as BPA is concerned BPA is only in polycarbonate items which are the plastics that are hard clear and listed as unbreakable. So in other words this item is not polycarbonate so it would not contain BPA.

A: I'm surprised no one answered your question as of yet not great on Canadian Tire's part not to try to find this info out it's not the greatest customer service but it does state in the product details that the product volume is 2 L which should be about 8 cups.
