Returned after 3rd use and burning smell from motor.

Easy to use and worked OK. First 2 uses were for non- demanding shredding of carrots totalling about 2 minutes run time. Next use was for mixing soft batter and the motor smelled like it was burning up so stopped. Tried again and burning smell was worse so I returned it. What a waste of materials and energy to produce such poor quality small appliances, even if they are a “ good deal”

I got this food processor 2 days ago and i can tell you that it's excellent . The speed is great and the pulse is easy to operate. I just want you to know that a previous person on this product did mention about the ridges in the cup, well I can say I never had a problem with getting the mixture out of the bowl . It cleans up very easy. "BONUS: I got this on sale too.

A: It states in the product details that the jar is AS which Canadian Tire should have been a bit more specific but it probably does stand for acrylonitrile styrene which can closely resemble polycarbonate items. But as far as BPA is concerned BPA is only in polycarbonate items which are the plastics that are hard clear and listed as unbreakable. So in other words this item is not polycarbonate so it would not contain BPA.

A: I'm surprised no one answered your question as of yet not great on Canadian Tire's part not to try to find this info out it's not the greatest customer service but it does state in the product details that the product volume is 2 L which should be about 8 cups.
