Great Tool to remove rear axle wheel bearings

12 years ago

I used this tool to remove the rear axle wheel bearings on a 1997 Ford Ranger (Ford 8.8 - 28 spline). I found it easier to first remove the wheel seals with a flat blade screwdriver then use this tool to remove the wheel bearings. The tool worked good and had all of the parts needed. It would be nice if the slide hammer part was longer to allow a stronger hammer effect with less force, but it still did the trick!
