Q: Is this product Water-Based (okay to use on tight brake calipers) or Oil-Based (will damage the seals)?

2 Answers

A: It is a petroleum base and will harm rubber, but if your brake slides are seized or the piston in your caliper is worn and not sliding in the bore these parts will have to be replaced and it won't matter if you spray with oil or not. Remember to use a silicone grease on your slides and rubbers when reassembling.

A: Hi Thank you for your question! We would not recommend the Liquid Wrench Super Lubricant for the oven doors as it was not developed for possible contact with food. A lubricant that is classified as Food Grade is recommended for your safety.

Q: Can I use this on a steering shaft? My steering shaft is making some noise. Can I inject some of this oil into the shaft?
