Package size is incorrect

I ordered these online for instore pick up. I just came home with these and they certainly are nice to look at but that's the only good thing I can say about them. They seemed a bit small for "14 ounces" so I measured how much water would fit in them. First I tried a measuring cup of water and 14 ounces overflowed like crazy. Then, I put one under my coffee maker dispenser and I set it for 12 ounces. Those 12 ounces filled this "14 ounce" cup to the absolute brim. The reason I bought these is because I wanted a cup that would fit a 12 ounce cup of coffee with room to spare. These aren't even close, I will be returning them because I already have 12 ounce glass mugs, I don't need more of the same.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Thanks for the feedback! Each glass in this set are 14 ounces a piece. We get our capacities by filling the item completely to the brim prior to overflow, so fill lines may be different than the maximum capacity. LibbeyGlassware

There's not really much to say. The mugs look good and are sturdy. If you drink a lot of coffee or tea, you might find them a little small but I think they're fine.

A: Thank you for your reply! I ended up returning them as product description mentions it be used for cold beverages and I needed it mainly for tea and coffee ..so I bought another Libbey glass mugs that is good for hot and cold beverages ..even though I liked this shape much better :(
