This unique anchor combines a traditional mushroom design with added flukes to better penetrate the river bottom, and provide superior holding power. Excellent for use in sandy, silty and muddy bottoms, the river anchor is also an ideal choice for lengthy moorings. Use this anchor to securely set up for a day of fishing or lounging on the river.

Q: Would this anchor work well for a swim raft

A: To anchor any swim platform you should have an anchor line that is at least five times longer than the depth of the water the platform is in. So in six feet of water, use at least 30 feet of anchor line. Our ten by ten platform needed two anchors and long anchor lines to hold at all and still in rough weather, it would drag the anchors.
