Warped don't waste your money on the Lagostina Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Reversible Grill, Oven & BBQ Safe, Black, 20-in x 10-in grill. Returned the first one got another and opened at the return desk it was warp too. Got my money back.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Cast iron is NOT recommended for induction stoves by manufacturer's. I suppose it means use at your own risk?! We purchased ours for use while camping.

A: I use it on top of two elements on my gas stove I think it would scratch a glass top Stove. We love it. We make pancakes on it every Sunday morning and it’s still in great shape two years later.

A: I use soap and hot water. Scrub it with steel wool, rinse and put in on the stove at minimum heat to dry. I only do this a few times a year. Otherwise I just wipe it with paper towels.

Q: Would it get damaged if I stored it in my BBQ during -35C weather? Before using I would bring it into the house and let it warm up at room temperature.

A: Ma cuisinière à induction ne détecte pas la plaque car les rebords sont trop hot. Alors même si la fonte fonctionne sur l'induction, le design de cette plaque fait en sorte qu'elle est inutilisable.

Q: How well does this heat on a glass top stove? Worried that the raised edges on the grill side will keep it from resting on the burners making it not heat well and evenly when using the smooth side for pancakes etc.
