MODIFICATION REQUIRED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rubber (boot) was about 1/32 to long. I had to use my Bic Safety razor I shave with, to shave the lip back incrementally, until I achieved the ultimate fit. The problem was, the machine would jam up because boot was just long enough to prohibit the pulp from being discharged. LIKE IF CHUTE EXTENDED. If KitchenAid is having a lot of kickbacks on this item, I recommend a check be made of the vendor supplying that boot. I suspect the supplier of the boot had deviated for the Engineering Designers Specs. Once I had got the tolerance of the boot, to what I believe was KitchenAid's engineered designed specs, I AM EXPIERENCING THE TOTAL SATISFACTION THAT THE NAME "KitchenAid" represents.

Yes, I recommend this product.

What a piece of junk

I bought this because of my satisfaction with other kitchen aid products. This one has been nothing but trouble. Today I was juicing beets when I heard a loud noise. The top had partly popped off but was (and remains to be) impossible to unlock and remove. I can't budge it. Yet it continues to run if I turn it back on. You would think it would immediately stop with such a major fail as this. A very expensive door stop.

No, I do not recommend this product.

  • A: Hello Jade, thank you for your question. Yes, it is. The KitchenAid Maximum Extraction Juicer has a patented two-stage blade and auger system and wide chute. This Slow Juicer also comes with 3 pulp screens for low pulp, high pulp and sauces. Great for hard, soft or leafy fruits and vegetables. I hope this helps - Whirlpool Central Advisors.
