Keurig Supreme k

I love my new Keurig machine. I only wish it had come with a couple of reusable pods. I have been unable to find any compatible and had to order some online.

Overheats with descaling and it splatters.

On my second Supreme plus in just over 2 years. First one was replaced under warranty just over a year ago after quitting during a descale using Keurig descaler (usually descaled with vinegar). Descale reminder has been constant with the replacement, despite being regularly descaled with vinegar. Today's descale caused the replacement unit to quit again. Appears to have overheated. I was able to disassemble the casing and reset the thermal sensor after doing some research. Working for now, but time will tell. I am super diligent in maintaining my kitchen appliances, but this Keurig model has been disappointing. Also note that compared to earlier models, the Supreme-Plus splatters coffee all over the counter around the machine. Researching other options for when the unit will inevitably quit again.

Too expensive for it's life.

My in-laws bought their 3rd Keurig 2 years ago. A few months ago, they moved to facility and we inherited their K-Supreme Plus. Our old-old biggy Keurig was on his last miles, we jumped at the opportunity! We were pleasantly surprised by its quiet work, options and easy cleaning. The machine is barely 2 years old and is now dead. After performing the last descale, there is no more contact. After numerous searches on the website and internet, it seems that the K-Supremes are victims of a major failure widespread in this range: the descale malfunctions if you put a few ounces of water too much during the descale, then the thermostat overheats and hop, the machine closes, forever. Two solutions: open the machine and press the "reset point" with a small pointed object, like a paperclip. Or change your coffee maker. Because Keurig only offers you a small 20% discount - on the regular price only! - exclusively on their site. In Quebec, the principle of legal guarantee is banned by the company. Shop near you, run the best deals, and avoid like the plague the K-Supreme range.

Works great when it does work

I bought the supreme plus model in Sept. 2022. Plan this model for obsolesce as other reviews I read tell me what I have experienced. It will fail around the 3-5 year mark. Frustrated to the point I will never buy another Keurig single cup maker again. It will power on but will not go into the brew cycle UNTIL I had to put it through 2 descale operations, unplug machine and hope it will brew after it has been powered on. The machine had been Descaled every 2-3 months depending when the descale pops up on the display.. Decided to toss it as I considered it no longer reliable enough but just very temperamental. We only use it once in the morning to make only 2 cups of coffee and thats it for the day.

this is my sixth Keurig in seven years and it's dead! supreme plus! yep supreme plus way to empty your pockets for sure , i'm not buying this crap anymore! i'm using filtered water , descale it regularly and so on but now i think they have some kind of kill date programmed in there so you keep buing lol

A: The Keurig® K-Supreme Plus Single Serve Coffee Maker will make some noise when the pump makes a noise while pulling the water, but it should not be loud and disturbing. Descaling and cleaning the needles regularly will help prevent the coffee maker to be noisy.

A: Please ignore my previous post. This machine shuts off automatically which is not an issue as it brews a cup very quickly. There is no provision to have it stay on. Great machine.

Q: If this coffee machine is on and the power goes out or is unplugged, does the coffee machine come back on by itself when the power returns? I am asking because I want to plug a Keurig machine into a smart plug so I can turn it on using Google Home.

A: The Keurig automatically shuts off after 2 - 3 minutes. It comes back on when the handle is opened then closed. This Keurig is not a brew type.

A: Not sure what you mean by 660z - term I would use is slim model - terrible product - DO NOT purchase - quit working one month after I purchased- when I returned clerk advised all slim models were being returned Keurig stood behind the product and took the return - I purchased another model and so far it works great
