I actually bought the wrong one. The mesh filter I was suppose to purchase is without the handle.

Though the coffee came out ok, the replacement made the water go everywhere in the basket holder and it would make the pot top sweat more which then turned to water all over the counter

Q: How do you install into your k duo machine? I placed it inside the basket where you would normally put the paper filters and it won’t close looks too tall.

A: You simply insert the mesh filter into the coffee filter basket (the same way you would insert a regular paper filter). Keep in mind that the Gold Tone Reusable Mesh Filter is designed for use with the K-Duo™ and K-Duo Essentials™ Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Makers only (does not fit in the K-Duo Plus).

A: Here are the steps to use a filter with the coffee maker: Lift the filter basket cover up and insert the gold tone mesh filter or a 12-cup paper filter into the filter basket. Add the desired amount of coffee grounds (1 tablespoon per cup is recommended). Close the filter basket cover completely.
