Desk looks great, was mostly assembled upon arrival, but fell apart!

I bought this desk for my 5 year old son's birthday; my husband and I set it up the night before his birthday with the intent to put it in his room so when he woke up in the morning he would see his new desk. We were happy that the desk arrived mostly assembled apart from having to attach the legs and it seemed like solid quality. Then we went to open the drawers...! The flip up drawer completely broke off the hinges THE FIRST TIME WE OPENED IT! We actually laughed at how poorly it was constructed. We tried to screen the hinge back on but the wood was too weak to hold them so that was that. Then (I swear I couldn't make this up if I tried) we went to open the left drawer and it was completely stuck. We initially thought it was a piece of styrofoam stuck inside but then we realized it was likely that the drawer slides were not properly on. So my son woke up to a desk with a broken flip top drawer and another drawer that wouldn't open. We told him we would replace it and luckily he still thought it was cool but talk about a disappointment!
