bought this 2-3 days back.. lacks in ear detection. while on call, can hear own voice.. in spite of several setting modes, own voice can not be completely shut out. anc works sometimes... ear tips are very slippery and fall out very frequently. double tap on earbud will cut ongoing call.. which is irritating, when your earbud keeps falling. overall 2 star rating only. not worth the money.

I’d leave 0 stars if I could. These headphones dont even connect to THEIR OWN CASE. The right one is constantly at 10% and the left one is fine it is such a pain. Dont buy.

Recently bought these and so glad I did.... I chose them specifically due to other people commenting on the noise cancelling. I've just used them on a plane journey and they were awesome, I could hardly hear the engine noise. Plenty of options on the app for changing audio settings as well required. Would recommend 👍🏼

Very Disappointing Headphones

I recently bought these, and found that the noise cancelling is non existent. The sound quality is incredibly poor, there is no bass what so ever, even after playing around with the EQ in the app. They take ages to connect and the touch buttons on the earbuds themselves are laggy and unresponsive. I understand that these are far from top of the range, but I have had other earbuds of a similar price range with far greater performance. It genuinely made me feel a huge sense of regret buying them. I have numerous other JBL products and absolutely love them but these are a real let down and would put me off being any other headphone from JBL in the future. The only Pros I have found, are the battery life is good and the case design is nice. If I could return these I would!

Q: I just got the jbl tune beam 2 earbuds. I have followed the directions to the nth degree. These earbuds just do not block sound. I can hear everything around me. Putting cotton in my ears is as effective as the earbuds. What a waste of money.

While our headphones are designed to reduce everyday noise using the noise-canceling feature, we unfortunately do not have a specific decibel rating for the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). However, the frequency range for our JBL Tune Beam 2 is from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

  • A: Thank you for your question. Our JBL Live Pro 2 and JBL Live Beam 3 offer Active Noise Cancellation as well as Adaptive Noise Cancellation Features, whereas our JBL Tune Beam 2 features only Active Noise Cancellation. Active Noise Cancellation uses to reduces unwanted surrounding sounds by using microphones to detect external noise and then producing an "anti-noise" sound wave that is exactly out of phase with the original sound. Meanwhile, Adaptive Noise Cancellation is a more advanced form of ANC that uses microphones and sensors to evaluate ambient noise in real-time and automatically modify the anti-noise signal to match with the evolving surroundings.
