    Great Amplifier but...

I bought this amp and it has a lot of settings. But if you are connecting 2 middle speakers with 1 subwoofer ( or as my case only 1 subwoofer ) you definitely need power capacitator to power up the amp, otherwise, it will drop off when you pump the volume up. It's heating up so it's better to mount it in open space not in closed box or confined space

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I have just had this installed in my Companies delivery van and it is awesome, it is firing a pair of 3 ways as Mid and Tweeter which I will change for a pair of JBL's now and an 8inch passive sub and it sounds great, got to get a monorail for the sub and use the GX-A604 for my high range in the dash, I am a JBL Lover any ways, I use the 2 control 10's in my home cinema set up. I highly recommend this amp to anyone.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I'm using this amp driven by a JBL MS-8. The amp is a good step up from your typical 20W/channel systems. Very noticeable gain difference in that it plays loud and clean w/little distortion. Using 2 of 4 channels bridged for a passive sub and that works well too. Recommended.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Can I use the GX-A604 to power a JBL CS1204B subwoofer and 2 13cm speakers with a max 250W power output and 35W RMS, without loosing any sound quality? or should I just power the sub only? Thanks

If you're planning on connecting the speakers I would advise not to crank it up too much as it may damage the speakers in the long run.

Q: Hi, will GX-A604 properly power front pair GT7-6C 6.5" and rear pair Gt7-96 6"x9" ? Is there any possibility of overheat on maximum power? And last one. Is there any output for monoblock amplifier?

    • A: This set-up will work okay as long as you set your front and rear levels correctly. The GX-A604 can output up to 60W to 4-ohms speakers - which is the impedance of the GT7 series speakers. The The GT7-6 and the GT7-96 can handle up to 45 and 70W respectively. This means that as long as you set your front levels a to around 75% of the way, you should be alright and there should be ideally no risk at maximum power. This amplifier does not have a pre-out to be bridged to another amplifier. As an alternative, you can split the output from the head unit going to your fronts, with a Y-adapter, going to the monoblock amplifier. Q: Hello, I have a pair of Stage 9603 and one of stage 502, it's this amplifier to much for those speakers?

Q: I want to take my rear channel speaker high level output and tie into the GZa604 amp and get 4 channel output. Will this work, do I have to tie into both high level inputs or just 1 input? Does this amp come with 1 or 2 high level input cables?

Q: Am I able to run a pair of 2ohm and a pair of 4ohm speakers on this amp simultaneously without causing damage?

Q: I bought this amp! I have an Infinity Reference 860w 8 inch subwoofer( 250 Watt RMS, 4 ohms) I am only hooking up this one sub...no other speakers. I'm not too sure how to wire it up though. Are they compatible?

    • A: You can bridge the subwoofer to this amp by using the rear set of wire terminals. Run wire from the sub's positive terminal to the amp's rear left positive terminal. Run a wire from the sub's negative terminal to the rear right negative terminal. Doing so will provide the sub with 170 watts RMS at 4 ohms but this will leave the other two channels unused. Also, this may help you on how the control switches needs to adjusted. - Set the input mode switch to 4 channel. - Set the high pass switch to ON. - Set the x-over switch to LP (low pass) - If needing more bass enhancement, switch bass boost to ON
