VERY DISAPPOINTED

I bought these about 2 weeks ago, tried to bore a hole in a deck board and got about half way through the one-inch board before it got stuck and would cut any deeper. Thought it might be that my battery in my drill was dying, but it was fully charged. I tried again and again and again. Nothing. These bits are useless. All i did was wreck the deck board.

Don't work 4x faster, but still great bits

I've used these bits on several projects over the last couple of years. In my opinion, they don't work any faster than properly sharpened spade bit. Otherwise, they are great bits.
The quick change hex shank means you can use the bits in any drill or impact driver. Drilling with spade blades always takes a lot of torque, and round shank bits will spin around inside the chuck if they meet too much resistance. The hex shape eliminates the spin.
The blades came out of the box sharp enough to use. I find once sharpened, these blades keep an edge longer than the Jobmate or MasterCraft.
