Very small OBD2 scanner, great for daily monitoring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup was really simple, the app is very intuitive. It quickly plugged into my cars port and prompted me to update the firmware. The whole process was really easy. The scanner is very small. I can’t wait to monitor my car over time and see if any issues occur

Such a cool idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing small device that can replace a big pro tool for basic code reading and resetting. It also allows you to to upload your engine software directly through device. It works fast and doesn’t require too long setup. For me it only took two simple steps : 1rst create an account and 2nd plugin device in OBD port. And after, everything works like magic. You can also monitor your vehicle’s live sensor data in the real time. I definitely recommend this device for your car .

Great size to store in vehicle and very convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hooked the Bluetooth code reader dongle up to my 2016 Nissan Maxima that had an engine code. After doing a brief firmware update, the app and dongle successfully identified an issue that I had previously identified by using a normal plug-in code reader. This Bluetooth angle is great though because it's small and can be kept in the vehicle and I can use it anytime without having to stop at a shop to get a code checked or hauling around a large code reader in my vehicle.

Works for reading codes and that's it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works for what it is. It does not have a lot of features since it's just a dongle. It's definitely just for reading codes and that's it. I am showing it compared to my other Bluetooth obd2 which as you can see has more pins so it reads much more stuff than this does. It seems pretty durable and it's light. If all you want to do is read codes, this will work but if you're like me and you want to see a lot more stuff, this will not work for that.

Q: I see reports of folks returning this device. HOW? My store has an exchange-only policy on this very-limited- functionality item despite the description referencing high-level functionality.

  • A: I never brought this for it's supposed high functioning. I just brought it for a code reader and description. Has a few other functions but never used them. If you want more like data, you gotta spent 500 and up.
