Great tool for car DIY!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nifty little device to have if you run into car trouble. My car had just needed AC refrigerant and I took it in to be serviced, so there are no codes to display for me. However it would have been a great tool for diagnosing that issue, which could have saved me some money. It feels well made and is compatible for my cars. Performs well and it’s easy to use and start up.

Q: Does this obd scan for exhaust and engine faults

  • A: Haven’t used it that often, knock on wood.  It has alerted on P0301 and P0302 cylinder misfires in my Subaru.  I had head gasket replacement and get the occasional error on startup.

  • A: Hello there, No — the Innova 3011 OBD2 Code Reader generally does not clear ABS codes. While the 3011 can read and clear standard engine (“check-engine”) codes on most 1996-newer OBD2 vehicles, its manual and official product info explicitly state it does not support ABS or SRS systems Please contact your nearest PartSource store for more information.
