Large Dial but No Dedicated Bleed Button nor 1/4" Quick Adaptor

I am happy of my purchase now. However I had to request a replacement the next day since the first one I bought (I used the 3 yr limited warranty) had a cosmetic 1 inch scratch on the soft plastic dial despite the protective sturdy styrene bubble outside packaging; also that same first one had a plating defect (peeling inner chrome) where the air was entering the gauge. Buyer must provide the female NPT quick connector 1/4" adaptor on his own. I had one and I used teflon tape and I was ready to inflate my tires w my compressor. The gauge does not have a dedicated bleed button but the first stage of the trigger bleeds air and the second stage inflates. I prefer a dedicated button. As with my former gauge of another make, the Achilles heel is the Schrader valve at the end of the tubing with its primitive flimsy disconnecting jaw-clamp. Such 30+cm screwable hoses can be bought at a nominal cost. CTR should asap offer this to customers, imho to keep the business of customers.
