Beautiful but dangerous closing operate

I just bought this knife and it is beautifully made and is of very good quality. However, the way it closes makes it dangerous to the user. I did not know how this kind of knife closes - I have a folding pocket knife that has what's called an liner lock. To close this one, I need to press on the "tab" near the end if the handle. To do this, I have to grab the handle, which places my fingers in the path of the blade. This is really dangerous. Why does this design exist? I returned it and bought another with liner lock. I am not really against recommending this product, because it is a high quality product. Just be aware of the folding mechanism if you are not used to it.

Unique Hunting Knife

This is a very unique hunting knife! I love the fact that one of the folding blades has a skinning hook, allowing you to easily switch between skinning and dressing. This hook can also be used for cutting things like twine and light rope in a much safer manner than a regular blade. The blades are stainless steel, which makes cleaning the knife easy. The main recommendation I have for this knife is that the blade hinge should be adjustable for tension. This would allow the user to increase or decrease the ease of opening the knife, based on their preference. This is a versatile knife that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Great hunting knife

This knife is very sturdy and but well. It's not too heavy but not light and you can tell it's built well. Both blades were very sharp and made harvesting quick and easy.

Lightweight and built for cutting and gutting.

This knife consists of two blades. A folding standard pointed blade and a folding gut ripper blade. Both have quick open thumb screws. The blades are thick with little flex. Handles are a lightweight composite material, small raised nubs on the handles provide a sure grip. Each blade has a keen edge so you can dive right into the cutting and gutting this was built for. The blades open and lock securely and you will need to apply firm pressure on the lock release to fold them back in place. All in all a good and dependable blade that is also lightweight. There is also a pocket clip along the side of the handle which makes for another option for securing the knife when transporting in the field.
