cover is a total fail

The light fixture itself is very nice but the cover is almost impossible to get in. Actually we have not managed to get it in yet as we are afraid it will break, I have tried 3 times and I just get frustrated, this is a design flaw. Recommend they put a slit in the end of the fixture so that you can slide the cover in and out, because it is not a one time thing as you will need to change the light bulbs. The way it is right now I have to consider it a frustrating fail

Questionable Quality

Bought two of these in the fall of 2010. Both installed in the kitchen. I liked the look of the lights.
However, in the last week one of the lights has started to go out, both bulbs for no apparent reason. I tried changing the bulbs with the other fixture and it is still happening. Tried leaving the lights on all day with the covers and ballast covers off so I could try to see if there was a difference in heat on the ballast. Both light fixtures remained lit and no noticeable difference in temperature.
I did notice trying to get the bulbs to lock in place seems a bit tricky, so maybe that is an issue with the one fixture. Will try checking it again, along with the fixture wiring.
Unfortunately, there is only a one year warranty so I either need to fix this fixture, or take a chance and buy a replacement, or dump both fixtures and buy fixtures from a more reputable manufacturer and replace both fixtures.
Very dissatisfied, as my old fixtures were at least 15 years old.

Lots of Light

We bought this light to brighten our kitchen and it surely does! My wife loves the way it matches our white kitchen cabinets. It was easy to install as long as you have someone to help hold it while you get it straight before securing it. The plastic "glass" is a little tricky to install but not so bad really. Just angle it upwards to the long side and squeeze it slightly to let it slide in. It'll come out the same way. This is a classy fixture.

Excellent for your kitchen

It adds up a touch of class; it was really nice to receive this as a present so we could replace our old lamps, that were already outdated and to the end of their usable life. Also the Canadian Tire price (we later on found out) was very competitive.......
