Q: What model number is this? they are many variation, canadian tire really should have this info available for their customer.

A: There is only one T5+ model and the manufacturer’s code is RCHT8612WF2015/W. The T5+ is no longer active, and we recommend model RCHT9510WFW2017/W or sku 0521490 instead, with similar features plus room sensing technology.

Q: Can this Honeywell wifi enabled thermostat work with electric baseboard heaters?

A: Hi Fitz, this thermostat works with 24 VAC systems. If your baseboard heater is 120 or 240 V you will need a line voltage thermostat. We will be happy to verify compatibility with you or recommend you a different model at 1-800-633-3991 Monday - Friday 9 am to 8 pm, Saturday - Sunday 9 am to 5 pm CST.

Q: I have a furnace connected to AC, for heating the furnace provides hot water and AC runs hot air to whole house(hope I am explaining correctly..). this system doesn't provide C wire. We tried ecobee3, it didn't work, not sure if T5 works for our HC system

Q: Does the Honeywell T5+ Wi-Fi Thermostat have program fan setting which would be independent from the heating/cooling? Does this unit have to be installed by a HVAC professional?

Q: Can the T5+ be set to send me an alert if my boiler fails to ignite? Can it send an alert if the temperature drops below a low temperature setting? Is the low temperature adjustable?

A: Hi Richard! The Resideo Honeywell Home T5+ Wi-Fi Thermostat does not come with a 24 V adapter. It does come with a wire saver module that can be used in some situations where a C wire is not present and you wish to maintain your independent fan control. Additionally, our wire saver will not work for heat only applications.
