Q: What is the set temperature that this one kick in at

A: This thermostat should activate any heating device you have it wired with if you set the temperature higher than the current room temperature. I also should active a device if the room temperature falls below the temperature you have set. I use it to activate a gas fireplace automatically in case my furnace fails.

A: I have mine on electric baseboard heaters out in the garage - they work great! Not sure about an exhaust fan though, sorry.

Q: Does the thermostat turn off if you turn the dial all the way to the left?

A: Yes. The problem was that when the thermostat was set it seemed to work but then it would not shut off once it reached the desired temperature. Honeywell replaced the unit.

Q: can a ct419a 2 wire be hooked to a 4 wire thermostat

A: Hi derrick, thank you for your question. You can install the CT410A 2 wire thermostat to a 4 wire system only if the local building code does not require a POSITIVE OFF (Switch between L2 and T2). If it does require it or if you cannot identify your wires, please call a contractor. You will have to connect L1 to L1, T1 to T1 and place a wire nut for L2 and T2. - Maria
