Horrible sound!

Picture is fine. Sound is horrible. I totally agree with another review that I saw elsewhere saying that the TV sounds like the sound is coming through a tin can. It's just really "tinny" or "hollow" sounding. Adjusting the sound settings made only a minimal difference. If you have room for external speakers, then this would be a good TV. I don't room in my bedroom cabinet, so sadly I will be returning the TV and having to accept Samsung's 2" smaller screen. Hitachi needs to realize that if someone is picking a 24" TV, then it's due to lack of space and that the person won't have room for external speakers.
No, I do not recommend this product.
