I like the adhesive that aids in positioning. I do not know if it will hold the hook over time but it's perfect to hold in place until secured with nails. The decorative nails, however, are poor quality. I used 4 hooks for 3 projects so I used 8 of the nails (included). 2 of the nails bent with light hammer taps. Still, I rate the hook high.
