Hillman's Hex Head Sleeve Anchor lets you easily attach things to concrete, brick and block. Simply drill a hole in the material, insert the anchor and tighten the nut. As the nut turns, the working end expands through the sleeve, securing itself snugly within the hole. Perfect for hanging shelves, picture frames, curtain rods or anything that needs a firm anchor point.

Adequate but other Hillman products work much better with less drilling and with thicker materials.

Not as secure as standard Hillman anchors. More suitable for through hole installations and thin attachments.

Q: The spec. page says "Fastener Diameter (in): 0.62 in". Is this the diameter of the hole you drill in the concrete or the diameter of the bolt in the anchor?

A: I used a 1/2in. concrete drill bit which worked well for installing the anchor.
