These are decent screws but the cost is outrageous for the number of screws in the package. I was stuck short on a project so I needed some in a hurry. There was supposed to be 100 screws in the package. There was no way there was 100 screws in that package. I wish I had counted them before I started using them. Their cost was over 6 cents a screw! I typically buy them in bulk, by the pound. They work out to about 1.5 cents per screw when you buy them in bulk. The cost of convience I assume.

Q: Are these the screws I need to attach an air-intake register to my wall ?

A: This drywall screw is for attaching drywall to wood studs. Ideally, the consumer needs to check the recommended fastener by the air register manufacturer. That said, if it is not specified, consumer can use a hex head sheet metal screw (example SKU# 1611918) and pick the appropriate length. More importantly, consumer needs to use a drywall anchor to secure the screw.
