Excellent not having to flop open the whole case but still being able to access the whole contents. Very good design. Very good wheels, far superior to other hard shell Outbound cases I have. Extremely lightweight. Purchased 2 of these and they did receive significant scratches and a couple of dents after just 1 overseas trip, which was pretty sad. I would assume others are tougher... Still fully working though.

EZ open section has a flaw design

I just brought it home from the store and noticed the zipper for the EZ open section had a damaged tooth right where the zipper has to make a relatively sharp turn. The zipper does not run smoothly becasue of this. I also noticed that if I put a small amount of pressure on the EZ open top, the zipper collapses into itself and it likely why the zipper tooth was broken. Although it appears convenient to open with EZ open door, due to the problem I encountered, I would not recommend this bag.

Q: What are the exact dimensions of this 30 inch HEYS EZ access hard size suitcase? I'm concerned it may be over-sized for checked baggage on airlines.

A: The size is good , I traveled with it on 2 airlines (Lufthansa and saudia) and I had no problems , the luggage is very good and light
