I bought this weightlifting belt to help with a sore back. It worked better than most of the weaker, nylon ones for me because I could really cinch it up tight. I also had a problem with a hip being very painful when I walked, so I tried it around my hips to see if that worked. And it did. It pulled everything in tight and in it's proper position.
