The included 80V 2.0Ah battery is designed for light-duty applications, such as limbing and smaller cuts. Cutting large, dense logs (such as 18") places a high demand on the tool and will significantly reduce runtime. For this type of use, a higher capacity 80V battery (4.0Ah or larger) is recommended for improved performance and longer running time. Regarding oil leakage, electric chainsaws still require bar and chain oil for proper operation Some minor seepage after use can be normal, especially if the tank is filled to the top or the unit is stored on its side. This can sometimes be caused by pressure in the oil tank, worn seals, a clogged vent, or a defective oiler. Storing the saw upright, slightly loosening the oil cap, and inspecting or replacing worn seals can often help. However, persistent leaking is not expected and may indicate a sealing issue that should be addressed under warranty.
