This battery is no good. It also has letters etched into the side. Like it was someone else’s before which is fine. Battery doesn’t charge or work.

Renewed (refurbished) batteries may show cosmetic markings, such as etched letters, as part of the refurbishment and quality inspection process. However, the battery should still charge and operate as expected. If the battery is not charging or working, we recommend trying a few quick checks: 1. Ensure the charger is properly plugged into a working outlet. 2. Confirm the battery is fully seated in the charger until it clicks into place. 3. Check for any debris or dirt on the battery or charger contacts and clean gently if needed. 4. Try a different compatible Greenworks 80V charger if available to rule out a charger issue. 5. Allow the battery to reach room temperature before charging if it was stored in extreme heat or cold. If the issue persists after these steps, this is not normal performance. Please contact Greenworks Customer Support so the team can assist with further troubleshooting and determine next steps for a replacement if needed. Not as good as original

Disappointed in the longevity of this battery. Compared to the GW battery that I already had, it only gets 50-60% runtime. Ok for the price but I expected better.

Bad refurbished battery

I bought a replacement refurbished battery and is not charging. It just blinks free and no power to it. I fully charged it when I received it but now is not working.
