It works when used properly

Used it last summer to stop a chinch bug infestation in my lawn. Worked really well, but you need to learn how to use it properly otherwise it won't work. I suspect most negative reviews will be centered around improper usage. First, there is an expiry date on the ball. Make sure to use the nematodes before they expire. They are living organisms. Store at room temperature. Not in a garage or shed where the temperature can swing wildly. Don't put the pouch in the sprayer. Instead, put the pouch in a bowl of water, gently squeeze the pouch so more nematodes get in the water. DO NOT open or burst the pouch. Then pour the water in the sprayer. Spray the lawn on a rainy day, not a sunny and dry day. The nematodes need to "swim" down to the bugs and rain will guarantee this. Nematodes will die quickly if they can't read their food (the bugs). The ball comes with two pouches. I used one for the front lawn and one for the backyard. I was able to easily grow new grass after treatment.
