    Questions

Q: Does this foam expand to fill in gaps?

    3 Answers
    • A: What I have seen is that the air expands it as you are blowing it from the can. It seems that you can have a thin line run out (like after you stopped with the trigger) and that stays the same size. So does it expend?! not sure?!

Q: Hello, Im seeing people have used this for around windows to fill up space for air conditioning units. Can this be taken off after its been applied (like when i need to take out the a.c?)

    1 Answer
    • A: The Great Stuff product will bond to the surfaces so you’ll need to cut and scrape it out and you won’t end up with a clean surface afterwards.

Q: How do you clean the applicator tube?Mine is filled with the stuff as it expanded.

    1 Answer
    • A: Unfortunately, the foam is a one-time use product as the foam expands in the tube and dries quickly.

Q: Can I use the product for windows and doors inside the house where the temperature is around 25 F around the frame of the window? Isit highly recommended that the frame of the window be screwedevery 28 inches?

    1 Answer
    • A: Yes, Window and Door foam can be used from inside and is what we recommend. It is also recommended you spritz the opening with water before spraying to help the foam set up properly in the winter time. The fastening distance should be clarified from the window manufacturer or installer.
