disappointed in new model

We bought this snowboard for one of our daughter's last year...she loved it and it works very well. Just a few days ago (December 27th, 2015), we bought one for our other daughter and once she started snowboarding, she noticed that she would just stop. We looked at the design of the bottom of both boards and the new one has clips that stick out. They don't click in and are always moving out of their slot. I have attached 2 pictures 1 shows the clips sticking out and the other is to show the difference between the bottom of both boards. We can't take it back because it's been coloured on. The old one is a much nicer model...it's longer with a smoother back surface. We are so disappointed.

Great beginner board

Purchased this board for my 6 year old son. We had a lot of fun coloring and drawing on the board in order to make it his own. Your feet do not lock in place which is great for beginners due to the fact that they will be falling a lot. I would recommend this product to any one with a young child who wants to try snow boarding.

This looks to be a great snowboard for the money. Kids are going to love being able to write and draw all over this board and making it theirs all alone. A great starter for the beginner. Way to go at Christmas.
